A new Superman movie is in the works folks. This is certainly good news for all Superman fanatics.
The new Superman movie is entitled “Superman: Man of Steel” said several online entertainment news.
To play the lead roles are Henry Cavill for Superman/Clark Kent and Amy Adams for the role of Lois Lane.
Henry Cavill stars in the hit US television series Tudors.
On the other hand, Amy Adams has been nominated twice at the Academy Awards. She also guested on several US hit television series.
Zack Snyder is going to direct the movie under Warner Brothers. He said that they initially encountered difficulty in finding the right actress for the role of Lois Lane. He added in an interview,
"For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role. We did a lot of auditioning but we had this meeting with Amy Adams and after that I just felt she was perfect for it.”
Snyder also shared that the challenged for this movie is to put Superman in the proper context of the present time.
“What’s important to us is making him relevant and real and making him empathetic to today’s audience so that we understand the decisions he makes. That applies to Lois as well. She has to be in the same universe as him [in tone and substance],” said Snyder.
Superman: Man of Steel is expected to hit theater by the second half of 2012.

RnB singer Chris Brown was set to promote his latest album F.A.M.E during his television guesting at Good Morning America but things did not right.
Brown reportedly got so irritated at one part of the interview after he was asked by the host a series of questions about his former girlfriend Rihanna and the incident that he physically abused the singer. Brown did not answer the questions and then walked out. He was said to have been screaming, tearing his shirt and even hurled a chair at a glass window.
With the violent outburst of Chris Brown, police authorities arrived at the ABS Studios. The co-host of the show Robin Roberts said that she was quite shocked at what Brown did.

Daily Mail posted and other entertainment photos of allegedly Tiger Woods’ new girlfriend.
The girl was identified as Alyse Lahti Johnston, a 22-year old native of Cleveland Ohio.
According to reports, the two had been spotted together several times. Another sports blog say that the two are steadily going out for a couple of months already. Johnston allegedly was also seen at Tiger Woods’ yacht.
However, Alyse does not come all clean as she was reportedly arrested by police authorities. The arrest happened in Orlando, Florida October of last year after she was suspected of driving under influence (DIU).
Tiger’s ex-wife Elin Nordegren was also reported months back to have already moved on and seeing a guy. Most recently, she bought a $12.2 million dollar mansion.
On the other hand, Tiger is set to move to a new home worth $60 million. This mansion is located in Florida, complete with four-hole golf course and a dock for his yacht.

Ides of March may be quite unknown to many already, but for those who loves history, it one of the most significant dates to remember.
Ides means to the 15th day of the month of March, May, July and October. Added to that is the 13th day of any other month.
It was during that date that the powerful Julius Caesar was stabbed to death. It was around 44 BC that one of the most powerful men that has ever lived on earth found his end against the very people he worked with.
Julius Caesar was stabbed to death for about 23 times at the Roman Senate. The killing of Caesar was a conspiracy by more than 60 people led by Gaius Cassius Longinus and Marcus Junius Brutus.
The dramatic event has been the source of inspiration for many immortal plays and musicals like that “Julius Caesar” by the famous English playwright, Shakespeare. On that play became famous the line, “beware of the Ides of March.”
So will the Ides of March also signify the end of many powerful political figures in our time like Gaddafi of Libya?
Unless, many more of his men will conspire against him.
Chantal O’Brien was not chosen by Brad Womack during the Finale of the Bachelor last night. Some people who are rooting for Chantal felt bad, while other entertainment sites actually think otherwise.
Some say that Chantal is actually happy that Brad had instead chosen Emily Maynard because she is allegedly happier this time around after falling into someone else’s arm.
Chantal O’Brien’s rumored boyfriend is Jeff Razore.
During the “After the Final Rose” episode, Chantal herself revealed that after her stint at the “Bachelor” and ending up as runner up, she was ultimately led to Jeff Razore.
Chantal, 28, said that Jeff was there to pick her up after ending up heartbroken when Brad did not lay his eyes on her. Jeff reportedly works in Seattle for Evergreen Capital Management particularly focusing in Relationship Management. He is the son of the owners of Rabanco Ltd.
The executive assistant confirmed this rumored relationship on People.com. She said,

After a very romantic episode for the “Bachelor Finale” last night, everyone thought that it was like a fairy tale that the two lovers end up living happily ever after.

The Philippine National Team is all set for their match tomorrow against the Mongolian National Football team.
The Azkals arrived in Ulan Bator, Mongolia and tried to make themselves more familiar and comfortable with the freezing temperature.
During their first match against Mongolia, the Azkals won the game 2-0. It was held at the Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City and was watch by more than 10,000 fans live at the venue and millions of Filipinos from their homes. Chieffy Caligdong delivered the first goal for the Azkals while Phil Younghusband sealed the victory with another goal during the last minute of the game.

Temperature at Ulan Bator was recorded at minus 15 degrees Celsius. But despite this condition, the Azkals promised to play tough against the Blue Wolves and win the game.
Dan Palami, Azkals team manager said;
“More than the Mongolians, we’re more concerned of the cold condition. This is just another adversity we need to overcome. But I know the boys will give their all to win despite the cold condition.”
Hans Michael Weiss, team coach shared his sentiments too;
“Only the game tomorrow (Tuesday) will tell us how ready the boys are... But the boys have a good character and the preparations are good.”
The challenge to win the match is couple with the goal to score at least three goals in order for the Azkals to advance in the group stage of the AFC Challenge Cup which is scheduled on March 21-30. It will be held in Myanmar.
During the Philippines vs Mongolia match, De Jong will not see action as he opted not to join the game. Christopher Greatwich and goalkeeper Neil Etheridge will also be missed on the match.

The Philippine Azkals are going to face Mongolia on Wednesday, March 15 at the Blue Wolves’ turf.
This match would be the second leg of the AFC Challenge Cup.
During the first match of Azkals vs Mongolia, the Philippine National Football team won 2-0 against the visitor last February. It was held at the Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City and was attended by more than 10,000 Filipino fans and foreign spectators. The first score was delivered by Chieffy Caligdong while the other one was by striker Phil Younghusband during the last minutes of the match.
During the game, the Mongolians showed their toughness in defense but was observed to be quite laid back in terms of their offense.

The Philippine National Football team or “Philippine Azkals” had already arrived in Ulan Bator, Mongolia days before their most-awaited match against the Mongolians.
The Azkals vs Blue Wolves match is the second leg of their group stage match for the AFC Qualifying Tournament.
During their first meeting in February, the Azkals won 2-0 against the Mongolians. The game was held at the Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City and more than 10,000 fans witnessed the match live at the venue.
The Azkals expect a tough match against the Mongolians on their second meeting as freezing temperature at Ulan Bator is certainly expected to play a crucial role at the performance of some of the Azkal players. But they promised that they will do everything to win the game in order to advance from their stage match and maybe face Malaysia next.

A top model in Taiwan is at the center of sexscandal controversy as she is being tagged on rumors of offering sex services said Apple Daily.
Taiwanese model Shatina Chen Si Xuan is accused of offering sex services for 100,000 yuan or about US$15,200. According to reports, she does this every time she visits Shanghai, China.
However, Shatina Chen Si Xuan, 36, was quick to deny this saying,
"I wouldn't have to work so hard if I wanted to make this kind of money.”
The actress has been known to have “the most beautiful legs in Taiwan.” She said that all rumors connecting her to the scandal are all baseless and without any truth. She was furious that her name was linked to the issue.
Issues about models and actresses offering sex services to wealthy people for financial rewards have been the topics on most tabloids. These issues found confirmation after letters written by Jang Ja-yeon, a Korean actress were discovered. The letters detailed her harrowing experience of being forced to have sex with 31 people of about 100 times. These acts she said were forced on her in order for her to boost her showbiz career.
Jang Ja-yeon committed suicide in March 2009.
In the letters, she claimed she was forced to have sex with 31 people about 100 times, in order to further her career.

News about scandals is taking the front pages of major dailies on several countries in Asia. First it was a Taiwanese top model who is being linked to offering sex services Shanghai, now the issue of sex scandal shifted to high government officials from neighboring country South Korea.
Reports from several international news agencies indicate that three Korean diplomats were engaged in a sex scandal.
The three diplomats were reportedly assigned in China.
Reports say that they were involved in a sex-for-favor scandal with a Chinese woman in Shanghai. The three in exchange of carnal pleasure, have allegedly given confidential government information to the Chinese woman.
With all the scandal and humiliation that the South Korean government is embroiled with, it has sent an inter-agency team to China to investigate the scandal and make necessary recommendations to higher authorities.
Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan said that the government is not condoning the actions of the two diplomats. He added that investigation will be fair and proper sanctions will be meted out.

Hundreds of people gathered in several cities of Saudi to protest and ask for the government the release of Shiite prisoners and greater power and representation in the government.
Dubbed as the “Day of Rage”, only hundreds of protesters marched at the city of Hofuf east of Riyadh.
In Qatif, which is predominantly occupied by Shiite Muslims, reports indicate no great activity or gathering of people to demonstrate against the government. However, on Friday night, around 200 people were seen demonstrating near Qatif. Some reports said officers just observed the protesters without anyone of them taken into custody. But this was contradicted by human rights groups in Saudi. They said that state security forces had shot and dispersed the crowd.
In Hofuf, three protesters were reportedly taken by security forces.
Interior Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Mansour Turki said of the planned “Day of Rage” and its turnout:
"You've seen the response of the Saudi people. This is their response to the call for protest."
For weeks, Shiite Muslims had called for protests and scheduled a “Day of Rage” taking inspiration from all the uprisings against the government from Tunisia, Egypt and Libya. However, as reports would indicate, the planned massive protest on the large Muslim country fizzled out.
The preparedness of the government and its showing of strong force proved to be a main factor to the result of the planned massive protest. For days before the March 11 demonstration, state security and police had been more visible around the country, and set up more check points said several reports. Saudi government had also said that it will not tolerate any uprising and demonstration against the government.
Despite the scant turnout, organizers are unfazed and are not losing heart.
Eman Al Nafjan, a reform advocate said,
"We need to keep repeating ourselves over and over…until something happens."

UPDATES: The magnitude 8.9 earthquake that hit Japan yesterday during a sunny afternoon has left so much devastation, that the city of Sendai and other neighboring areas were like waste lands. Photos and videoes of the earthquake showed the extent of the damage as tall buildings swayed, houses came down crashing and many other infrastructures torn to pieces. The strong shaking of the earth has also caused fires on many petroleum factories as gas and oil leaks started to burn. Up to this writing, many of these fires are not yet controlled.
Another cause of alarm to the Japanese public is the reported damage on two nuclear power plants in Fukushima. The two nuclear plants were said to have experienced an abrupt change in system due to the quake causing the reactors to be damaged. People were said to have already been evacuated within the 6-mile radius set by authorities. They have also confirmed of radiation leak though they also said that it will not be harmful to the public.
The harrowing sight of tsunami that hit Japan with waves as high as 33 feet came in rushing to the shore at 500 miles an hour. The giant waves with much force hit homes, buildings, bridges and farmlands. It washed up mud, debris, boats and even big ships. Reports said that one ship with an estimated 100 passengers in it is still missing.
After the magnitude 8.9 earthquake, strong aftershocks were felt around Japan.
Several Japanese news reports said that a day after the earthquake authorities estimate that 9,500 are missing in one town, adding to it 20 Israelis.
But as of this writing, Japanese officials estimate that around 1,700 people may be dead. However, exact figures so far say that 637 people were dead and every minute more bodies are found while others have been buried already or washed up to the sea.
50,000 soldiers were already sent by the Japanese government to the area for search and rescue mission. On the other hand, the US government together with other countries is already preparing to send contingency forces to Japan to help on rescue operations.

The massive magnitude 8.9 earthquake that had struck Japan on Friday had forced the government to close several Japanese nuclear power plants and oil refineries.
The earthquake located at the east coast area of Japan sent many homes and buildings into pieces. The tremor also raised the body of water and sent tsunami as high as 5 meters into the populated areas on the east coast lines.
Several news reports from Japan indicated that many people were injured in Sendai, north of Japan but no complete report of numbers of casualties or death has yet been issued by the government.
Japan only days ago was struck by magnitude 7 earthquake and in terms of economy has been struggling to boost its economy to new heights.
The Bank of Japan has promised that in the midst of this catastrophe will try its best on making the Japanese economy afloat and sustained.
But experts are more worried about the state of the nuclear power plants in Japan after the devastating calamity.
Authorities in Japan also warned of a possible radiation leak as two nuclear power plants were heavily damaged. As precaution, authorities had moved many residents far from the power plants, said Tokyo Electric Power Co representatives.
The two nuclear plants that were damaged are located in Fukushima 240 kilometers north of Tokyo, Japan.
Educators and experts also allayed public fear that no major radioactive disaster will happen.
"No Chernobyl is possible at a light water reactor. Loss of coolant means a temperature rise, but it also will stop the reaction," said Naoto Sekimura from the University of Tokyo.
Mark Hibbs, a who works for Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Berlin said that what happened to Japan is like that of the Three Mile Island Incident in the US. Hibbs said in an interview with Newsmax.
“We were in a situation as I recall then very similar to where we are now, where we were told by news media in 1979 that there was a core melt accident unfolding, we didn’t know how serious it would become, and what would happen.”

A very strong earthquake hit Japan (watch video here) anew on Friday which was recorded by geologist at magnitude 8.9. The earthquake was said to be the strongest in 300 years that Japan had experienced.
The strong earthquake that was located 373 kilometers from Tokyo on the eastern coast sent waters to form giant tidal waves or tsunami.

Authorities in Japan are expecting that more tidal waves are to hit the country as results of many more after shocks.
Tsunami warnings were immediately raised on many parts of the Pacific like the Philippines, Taiwan, Hawaii and Indonesia.
In the Philippines, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has raised the Tsunami alert to Level 2 only hours after the earthquake hit Japan.

“The concerned public is advised to BE ON ALERT FOR UNUSUAL WAVES. Based on tsunami wave models and early tide gauge records of the tsunami in the Pacific, coastal areas in the Philippine provinces fronting the Pacific Ocean are expected to experience wave heights of at most one meter.
People are advised to stay away from the shoreline during this period. People should not go to the coast to watch the tsunami. People whose houses are very near coastal areas facing the Pacific Ocean are strongly advised to go farther inland.”

Tsunami warningswere immediately raised across the Pacific region, from Russia, up to Vietnam, Philippines and as far as Hawaii.
The earthquake caused power outage in many parts of Tokyo and neighboring cities. Internet connection was also stalled.

Guinness World Record is expected to recognize a Filipino teenager to be the smallest man in the world, according to several online reports.
Junrey Balawing, a 17-year old teenage boy from Zamboanga del Norte was recognized as the smallest man in the world as his height registered as merely 22 inches. At this his, he was said to be just a litter taller and a glass bottle and is as tall as a one-year old child.
Junrey easily defeated the record held by Niqo Hernandez, 24, from Colombia whose height measures at 27 inches.
The 17-year old teen said,
“If I were the smallest man in the world, it would be very cool.”
His parents thought that there is nothing wrong with their child. But also at one point took the effort to see a doctor they were only advised to give Junrey vitamins.
"I would love to be able to work while my other children are at school but I can't leave Junrey. He needs my care every minute of every day.
Junrey can only walk with some help and he can't stand for too long because he's in too much pain. But he loves it when I tell him he's the smallest man in the world, he just smiles with pride," said Junrey’s mother.
Junrey was described by his family as a happy kid despite his limited height.
He may not yet received any formal recognition from Guinness but I am pretty sure that he will be recognized pretty soon.

The economic downturn in the previous years has certainly put many countries cringing; even the superpowers realized how vulnerable they are. Several countries asked to be bailed out while others relied on different stimulus plans and pieces of legislations to restructuring. But all efforts proved that redemption is not yet at hand.
The US government is one of those that was hardly-hit by the economic meltdown. Unemployment is still high and private and public debts continue to pile up.
With all these serious economic complications, the US government through President Obama approached things by cutting down budgets and spending.
With all these budget cuts, many sectors also tried to think of ways on how the debt-stricken US government could save more.
One idea that came up is by phasing out the $1 paper bill and change it into a dollar coin.
The U.S. Government Accountability Office reportedly made a proposal that was submitted to the Federal Reserve and Treasury of phasing out the $1 bill and replace it instead with a $1 coin. On their proposal, they said that the US government could save at least $5.5 billion during the next 30 years!
The reason? Because paper bills have shorter life span and in effect takes a lot of public fund for printing new bills unlike the coin.
Sure the US is really tightening its belt huh.

Now, Christina had encountered police authorities.
Christina Aguilera, 30, according to reports was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of being drunk in public. She was arrested near Sunset Strip and was described as was "extremely intoxicated.”
During the incident, Christina was with her boyfriend who was driving the car. The two were stopped by authorities Clark Street, Los Angeles around 2:45 AM.
Authorities added that Christina "didn't really understand where she was.” But they added that she was not rude or violent rather showed cooperation with apprehending officers.
Aguilera’s boyfriend Matthew Rutler took the field sobriety test and had registered a blood alcohol level of 0.09 percent, higher than California’s 0.08 percent legal level.
Aguilera was reportedly booked, fingerprinted and place on a cell. She was later released after passing another sobriety test and posting a $250 bail.

Matthey Rutler, 25, was also arrested for DIU. He was later released after posting a $5,000 bail, said sheriff officials.
