The Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines or CBCP has come up with a website that will give the Catholic faithful the chance to do their own Visita Iglesia online.
With just a click of a mouse Catholics can tour seven Catholic churches and fulfill their holy obligations. The seven churches are all located in Metro Manila.
The Visita Iglesia Online Website can be found at cbcponline.net that will feature the façade and interior of the seven Churches.
The featured Churches are: Manila Cathedral, San Agustin Church, Quiapo Church, San Lorenzo Ruiz Church, Tondo Church, Malate Church and Baclaran Church.

1. Applicants must accomplish properly the prescribed examination application form ( application forms are available at all CSC offices nationwide)

Four (4) latest and identical (1.5” x 2”) I.D. pictures with white background and with a full name tag that includes the surname, first name and middle initial taken within three (3) months before the date of filing of the application. Pictures that are scanned, photocopied or computer-enhanced are not accepted. Name tag should be hand-held. Applicants should not wear eye glasses or any accessory that may cover their facial features when they are having their pictures taken.

Civil Service Exam Admissions Requirements from the CSC:
1. At least 18 years of age on the date of filing of application;
2. Must be Filipino citizens;
3. Must be of good moral character;
4. Have not been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude, or disgraceful or immoral conduct, dishonesty, examination irregularity, drunkenness or addiction to drugs;
5. Have not been dishonorably discharged from military service or dismissed for cause from any civilian positions in the government;
6. Applicants with pending administrative and/or criminal cases may take the examination and shall be conferred the eligibility if they successfully pass the same. However, this is without prejudice to the outcome of their pending cases. If they are found guilty of grave offenses, their eligibility shall be forfeited based on the penalties stated in the decision and pursuant to Section 58 (a) of the Uniform Rules on Administrative Cases in the Civil Service and CSC Resolution No. 010659, dated March 22, 2001; and
7. Have not taken the same level of CS Examination in less than three (3) months or have not failed the same examination for four (4) times pursuant to CSC Memorandum Circular No. 56, s. 2002 (Frequency of Taking the Career Service Examinations).

The Supreme Court will soon release the Philippine Bar Exam Results 2009 on March 26, 2010. Despite all the negative things that the Supreme Court is facing today, the Bar Exam Results of 2009 is something that all bar exam takers and all law schools are waiting.
5,903 took the Philippine Bar Examinations last September 2009.
And all law schools are awaiting at the same time of the Top Ten Bar Passers.
1,451 out of the 5,903 examinees or 24.58% passed the 2009 Bar examinations.

Manny said that he may retire as he had seen that his most recent fights had mostly gone the distance and the toll of body punishment and tedious training may take its toll on him.
Pacquiao is also getting himselfbusy as he running for a congressional post in Saranggani province for the May 2010 elections.
If Manny retires and not fight Floyd Mayweather, it is never a big loss to him as he had proven himself already to the world and carved for himself a place not only boxing but also on sports history.

My sister is a GSIS scholar, and that scholarship is a big help for her studies especially that education more so on private schools and universities in the Philippines is so expensive.
Her GSIS Scholarshipgives her P20,000 tuition fee every semester and P2,000 monthly allowance. Now, she is going third year with her business course at La Salle Bacolod. Something that can greatly help parents though most of the time, the allowance and the tuition fee shouldered by this government agency arrives very late. This year, GSIS is asking for more donors for the scholarship fund, so that it can send more Filipino students to school and have their own degrees.

And today, I would try to look at the possibility of some people making an encoding mistake and misspelling the url of this popular online site to HuffintonPost.com. I tried to look at the result of search engines and for now, no one had written any article or optimized on this.
I looked at Google Trends and though the traffic and interest of people encoding Huffintonpost or Hufingtonpost is not skyrocketing, it nonetheless shows there is a good amount of traffic that are getting lost by misspelling the site’s name.

The New York Times is going to stick with its article about Noynoy Aquinoand the Hacienda Luisita that went on print Wednesday. On that article, a member of the Conjuangco lan who own the vast majority of the sugar plantation was quoted to have said that the family “will not let go” of the 4,500-hectare Hacienda Luisita. This article is a big blow to Noynoy Aquino who is running for the Presidency as he has promised that he will make it a point that the plantation be distributed to farmers.
Noynoy Aquino reacted to the article and said that Fernando Conjuangco, CEO of the holding firm that runs Hacienda Luisita may have just been misquoted by New York Times.
But New York Times on its part said that there was no mistake as the interview was recorded on tape and is readily available to the public.
“We stand by our March 16, 2010, story on Hacienda Luisita. Our interview with Mr. Fernando Cojuangco . . . was recorded. If Mr. Cojuangco wishes the tape to be released to the public, we will gladly do so.”

Yes, it is confirmed, that Judy Ann Santos is indeed pregnant. The confirmation came from Judy Ann and husband Ryan Agoncillo that she is two months pregnant with their first child. Though they have been feeling that pregnancy was there, they first tried to confirm it through their doctor and Ryan showed during “Eat Bulaga’s” program by flashing the ultrasound image of their baby.
They were married last April 28, 2009.
Interviewed by TV Patrol World, Judy Ann shared her sentiments and joy,
"My pregnancy test was already positive but we didn't want to announce it because the obstetrician said we should hold off until there was a heartbeat.

Marco Andretti’s car crashed at the Sao Paulo Indy 300 giving him some injuries. The dangerous crash was caught on video.
Marco Andretti was then rushed to a hospital after the car crash and was also immediately released and sports news aired his condition on some different stations.
The crash was due to the car of fellow driver Mario Moraes that had crashed at the tail of Andretti’s causing him to spin.
Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton, the Pinay world champion boxer is someone the Filipinos can also be proud of. The Philippines is country that is receiving the most number of typhoons each year, and lately with the Typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng, so many people and the whole nation were caught flat footed with the raving typhoon. It was then revealed that the country is still lagging behind on having the necessary equipment and tools on weather forecasting, as what are used today by PAG-ASA are things that could already be considered obsolete by other countries.
So where have all the funds gone? Is the country still capable of issuing 24-hour weather forecast, bulletins and predictionsthat are more precise so as the country and its citizens can prepare for the worst?
The answer lies on governance.
