American Idol Season 9 is expected to release Wednesday the list of semifinalists out of the Top 24 remaining hopefuls.
It all began with 71 contestants and one by one, the list was trimmed down to the American Idol top 24 during the Hollywood Week group performance.
Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi, Randy Jackson and Ellen DeGeneres were the judges who made the selection.
