The Luger Death Video that has been televised is now being asked by NBC to be stopped on being played to give respect to the Georgian luger who died at the Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010.
Nodar Kumaritashvili, 21, from Georgia died after losing control of his sled. This led him to fly off the course and slam hard at 90mph into a steel pole.
Nodar before the accident and his death told his father that he will "either win or die" and shared his worry about the track being too dangerous and fearful about the curve.
The committee that is handling the sports and the luge officials had receive so many criticisms and complaints after the tragic incident.
Nodar Kumaritashvili's body was brought to his hometown in Georgia and will be buried at Bakuirani, a small ski resort.

Nodar Kumaritashvili’s death is a tragedy, and video of his dearh is gruesome! Luge looks like such a neat sport, but also very dangerous at the same time. His death will cast a pall over these Olympic Games. The safety of the sport definitely needs to be addressed appropriately and immediately.
