Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Fight Set Next Year



The Pacquiao-Mayweather Fight is now shaping up as Bob Arum, Top Rank CEO has already confirmed a draft of a contract for Manny Pacaquiao and Floyd Mayweather to clash on a classic and most anticipated boxing fight of the century; that will also cement of who really is the greatest pound-for-pound king.

Arum is set to arrive in the Philippines to hand over to Pacquiao and see for himself the draft of the fight contract that is sure to set a box-office hit in sports history.

Tentatively, the mega-bout between Pacquiao and Mayweather is scheduled on March 13, but Manny’s quest for a political post on the May 2010 elections is surely to affect the schedule of the fight.


Undefeated boxer Mayweather is all set for the bout too, seeing Manny as an opponent he could easily defeat and prove that he is indeed the best pound-for-pound fighter of the world.

While for Manny Pacquiao, this fight will earn for him his eight championship belt on eight different weight divisions.

Everyone is already excited with the fight as history will unfold if who will rise valiantly between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather; and write the last word on boxing’s history book.

Update: Mosely vs Mayweather was scheduled instead on May 1, 2010.
