Azkals vs Myanmar Live Stream: The campaign is not yet over for the
Philippines in the 2012 AFC Suzuki Cup.
In their third game for the group stages, the Azkals are facing Myanmar White Angels. The Philippines vs Myanmar game is going to be held at the Supachalasai Stadium in Bangkok on November 30.
The big win by the Azkals against Vietnam through a 1-0 score line will certainly be no cause for overconfidence for the team. Super substitute Chieffy Caligdong made the goal at the 85th minute courtesy of a great pass from another late substitute Angel Guirado. While Vietnam wants to revenge their 2-0 loss against the unheralded Azkals in 2010, the Philippines instead made a repeat making a big statement of its football legitimacy.
Currently, Thailand is on top of Group A with 6 points followed by Philippines with 3 points. This game against Myanmar is a must-win for the Philippine Football Team in order to make a sure passage to the semi-final stage.
According to Coach Michael Weiss, the team is certainly given the boost they needed with their big win against Vietnam. But he added that they should not get overconfident against Myanmar.
“We have to re-strategize for our next match and I would like to point out that Myanmar are not the weakest team in the group.”
Weiss also added that,
"If we beat Myanmar, we are through and also have a good chance to go through with one point.”
Nobody can say Myanmar are the weakest team in the group. You saw the game against Vietnam – they played very well and could have won,"
