2011 Forbes 100 Most Powerful Women List

Forbes Magazine has announced this year’s most powerful women.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel took the number 1 spot the 2011 Most Powerful Women List. Forbes praised the German politician for steering Europe into economic and political stability despite all the economic turmoil many European Union states are facing.
