Rumors about Denver Nuggets superstar player Carmelo Anthony to be traded has been the talk of the town. Even during the 2011 NBA All Star weekend, sports commentators covering the series of activities and events could not help but speak up their minds about the Carmelo Anthony trade issue.
Today, Denver Post together with several news sites said Carmelo Anthony is to be traded to New York Knocks in a big time deal.
The report said that Anthony is going to New York together with Shelden Williams, Chauncey Billups, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman. On the other hand, Denver Nuggets will get Timofey Mozgov, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler and Raymond Felton.
A three-way deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves was also noted said ESPN on its report.
In an interview, Karl George, Nuggets head coach said:
"I'm glad its over. I'm glad it's an opportunity to reinvent. I think everybody handled it as classy as you could handle it. There's some sadness to it, there always will be."
With all these talks however, the New Jersey Nets is still optimistic that they could get Anthony to beef up its players.
Of course, we will soon hear details of the reported blockbuster trade deal.
