Joran Van Der Sloot confession of Murder of Stephanie Flores may at last close the case as authorities reported that the Dutchman man confessed to them his crime.
Though Joran Van Der Sloot has been tagged as the prime suspect for the death of Natalee Holloway in 2005, he however confessed of killing a different woman in a hotel room in Peru.
The victim is Stephanie Flores, 21 years old.
Reports detailed how Van Der Sloot killed Flores after the latter is said to have taken the former’s laptop with his consent.
Part of the confession says,
"I did not want to do it. The girl intruded into my private life... she didn't have any right. I went to her and I hit her. She was scared, we argued and she tried to escape. I grabbed her by the neck and hit her."
Details of his confession and its transcript has bee obtained by local television network.
Police authorities are now readying the charges to filled against Van Der Sloot.
Van der Sloot has long been considered the main suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teenager Holloway on the Caribbean resort island of Aruba. He was arrested twice, but freed both times for lack of evidence.
