A member who is applying for a calamity loan should first ask for a barangay clearance that will state that your area is indeed under the state of calamity; plus the official SSS Calamity Loan application form.

Requirements are then submitted to SSS office nearest your.

SSS Calamity Loan Loanable Amount:

1. A member may avail of a calamity loan of P8,000.
2. A member with an existing calamity loan may avail of another calamity loan, provided that his total calamity loan availment does not exceed P10,000.
3. The outstanding balance of any earlier calamity loan will not be deducted from his new loan.
