Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire is going to the Toshiaki Nishioka on October 13, 2012.  The fight is going to be held at the Home Depot Center in Carson City.

Donaire, a rising bantamweight star is facing one of the toughest and considered to be a number 1 bantamweight boxer in the world in the Japanese boxer Nishioka.  The Japanese challenger is also called the “Speed King.”

Donaire said in an interview,

“This is [going to be] an all out war between Nishioka and I and we will definitely, definitely give it our best.”

And if we read between the lines of course, a knock-out win is imperative.  Although Nishioka is not that active in the last couple of years and is older than Donaire, the Filipino boxer is not putting in any room for complacency and over-confidence.  He said,

“The guy is dangerous.  The guy is quick and he can punch. I’m going to do what I can to get this fight because I know how strong and quick Nishioka is. He’s really dangerous.”

Donaire is 29 years old while Nishioka is 36 years old.

Nonito Donaire is facing Japanese boxing superstar Toshiaki “The Speed King” Nishioka on October 13, 2012.  The fight is going to be held at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.

It will be for the 122-pound weight division that will crown the bantamweight king.

In an interview, Donaire said about this bout,

“There is really not much to say on what Nishioka has done in this division. He’s been number one in this division. But again, may the best man win in this fight.”

Donaire has risen in the last couple of years to become of the best fighters in his division, demolishing many of opponents.  But Nishioka is a very tough fighter.  The Japanese boxer is a veteran and considered to be on of the top boxers of Japan.
