Many team managers in the NBA predicts that the NBA
defending champion Miami Heat will have
claim the crown again this season and their first game against a tough NBA
proved their worth.
The Miami Heat has beaten the Chicago Bulls 107-95 in
their NBA opening game.
Despite a slow start of the Heat in the first minutes of
the first quarter making the Bulls enjoy a big lead, the defending champs
shrugged off some opening game excitement, got back to their form.
LeBron James scored 17 points while Derrick Rose who got back
from injury to play fired 12 points.
Bosh helped James with 16 points, Battier with 14 , Wade
with 13 and Chalmers also with 13 points, while Allen and Cole contributed with
11 points respectively. On the other
hand, it was Carlos Boozer who scored big for the Bulls ending the night with
31 points and 7 boards.
The first half ended with 54-33.
But the 25-point lead at a point in the game was wasted
by the Heat with the Bulls made their rally.
The game was at 95-87 in the 2:47 of the fourth after a drive by Boozer to
the basket. in the And it was Battier’s
shooting from the three-point line that made the game for the defending champs
with his critical three with 1:33 remaining in the game.
Battier was perfect at 4 out of 4 in the three point
range.
Players of Miami Heat also received their championship rings before the game.
