Pacquiao vs Bradley Pictures: So what are we to expect from the Pacquiao vs Bradley fight on June 9?

In their press tour months ago in Los Angeles, Manny Pacquiao gave Timothy Bradley a warning. He said:

“Don’t take this fight easy, just do your best in training. Make yourself ready on June 9th.

The two fighters will face each other for the World Boxing Organization welterweight crown that Pacquiao is putting on the line. And for sure he will not give to Bradley.

The Pacquiao-Bradley fight came to life after the much-awaited bout with Floyd Mayweather did not materialize. Reports say that Floyd assured Pacquiao of a $40 million fight purse but will not give the eight-division champion and fighter of the decade any share or cut from the pay-per-view income. Sports writers say that the PPV income could reach a record of more than $100 million in sales should the fight materialize.

The fight on June 9 is to be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada and will be aired live on pay-per-view.

The young American Timothy Bradley Jr. holds the record of 28-0, 12 Kos; an undefeated, young, aggressive and of course, hungry fighter who wants to finally put a stop to a boxing legend in Manny Pacquiao.

On the other hand, the fighting lawmaker from Saranggani Province is holding the boxing record of 54-3-2, 38 Kos.

As of the moment, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are sharing the second spot on Ring Magazine’s pound-for-pound list of best fighters in the world today. The top spot was deemed vacant as Mayweather did not show a great/spectacular performance against Miguel Cotto (whom Pacquiao TKOs) last May in Las Vegas. Pacquiao could get the top spot if he will show a decisive and spectacular win against Bradley on June 9.

Coach Freddie Roach said that Bradley may suffer the same fate as Ricky Hatton who Pacquiao cold-bloodedly knocked out in the second round of their bout.

The bout as has been said is going to be aired on HBO’s pay-per-view.

In the Philippines it will also be aired live via satellite. Cinemas, bars, and many other establishments are going to air the fight live from Vegas. A delayed telecast will also be aired by GMA7 Network, a local television network that partners with Pacquiao on the local airing of his fight.

Replay of Pacquiao vs Bradley will be aired by GMA7 during primetime.
