Shalani Soledad and Roman Romulo Wedding: It is dubbed as the wedding of the year for 2012 and everyone is already excited for the lovers who are going to tie the knot on January 22.
TV host and Valenzuela councilor Shalani Soledad is going to wed Pasig lawmaker Roman Romulo on January 22 at the St. Benedict Church Silang, Cavite. Initially planning a grand wedding, the two decided to make the wedding more private and simple in order to sympathize with all the victims of Typhoon Sending in Northern Mindanao and donate the saved amount to the victims.
The wedding of Shalani and Rep. Roman Romulo will be witnessed by family members and relatives, close friends and a few invited guests.
Shalani according to reports is going to wear the gown designed by Inno Sotto which will be simple yet elegant, while the wedding’s color motif is green and lavender. After the wedding, the reception is to be held in Laguna.
Sponsors for the wedding of Shalani and Roman are Senator Lacson, DFA top official Albert Romulo, Cynthia Villar and Manny Pangilinan among others.
According to the couple, after they have visited St. Benedict Church in Silang, they said to themselves that they had already found the venue where they are to seal their love to each other.
Rep. Romulo is a devotee of St. Benedict.
As for the honeymoon, the two will initially planned to spend their romantic moments after the wedding in Rome, but then chose Palawan.
Live coverage, or exclusive coverage of the wedding of Ms. Soledad and Mr. Romulo will not available as the two said that they had not given any exclusive contract to any networks.
But of course, we all hope that a video, photos and pictures of the event will be shared by the couple to the media in order for the public to get a glimpse of the 'wedding of the year.'
Shalani Soledad is the ex-girlfriend of President Noynoy Aquino, while Rep. Roman Romulo is a close family friend and political ally of the President.
Will P-Noy attend the wedding? Let us see. But that seems a little awkward for me though.
