Bautista vs Mendoza Fight: Pinoy Pride X is once again going to banner some of Philippines’ rising fighters inside the ring.
The sports event is made possible by ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports.
Pinoy Pride 10 is going happen tomorrow, December 20, 2011, at the Hoops Dome, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
The main event will feature International Boxing Federation (IBF) International featherweight king Rey “Boom-Boom” Bautista and Mexican slugger and knockout artist Miguel Angel Mendoza.
The Bautista vs Mendoza fight promises to be an explosive one as both fighters are known to be go all out firing all punches with power.
Mexican Angel Mendoza said that he is going to send Boom-Boom to the canvas with his power punches that had actually sent many sleeping inside the ring. But the Boholano boxer is not backing down saying,
“Maybe he will eat his words. Maybe he will be the one who won’t reach the sixth.”
In this fight, Bautista is going to defend his belt. Having 31-2 with 23 knockouts, Boom-Boom said that it will be a short night for the challenger.
Mendoza on the other hand also boasts of a spectacular record of 17-0-1 all 17 wins by way of knockouts.
He said,
“As far as I’m concerned I will not run. I hope Boom-Boom will not run.”
Even before the fight, these two fighters are already showing some bad blood, and I expect to see lots of blood inside the ring come Saturday night.
Pinoy Pride X is going to be aired by ABS-CBN and Studio 23.
