The Department of Tourism (DOT) under the watch of Sec. Alberto Lim is under scrutiny and receiving criticisms over their new tourism campaign dubbed as “Pilipinas Kay Ganda.”
One of the major criticism for this tourism campaigns is the Pilipinas Kay Ganda logo that is purportedly copied from that of Poland’s tourism logo on its site called “Polska.”

One will notice the very obvious similarities over the fonts used, the style of how the design is made and at the same time the whole theme of the logo.
For me, there is an obvious copying of the travel site of Poland which only shows that the DOT under Sec. Lim is going nowhere and that Lim is one incompetent travel czar who got his position out of patronage politics.
President Aquino already instructed Lim to make a new travel campaign especially a new and unique logo.
