An exciting race with more than 2,600 athletes joining is taking place with a guaranteed purse of $50,000 and a qualifying spots to the upcoming 2010 Ironman World Championship Race with will be held in Hawaii this year. There will be 72 qualifying spots from this event.This Ironman Lake Placid racing event will feature the combination of former winners and other Ironman champs. Surely, many of those who have become superstar athletes from the Ironman event will come together once again on an action-packed sporting race this early part of the second half of the year.
Ironman Lake Placid 2010 is already on its 12th year.
