It was announced that there will be a great celebration in New York for the Puerto Rican Day Parade 2010.
New York’s Fifth Avenue will see the convergence of more than 2 million people to celebrate the Puerto Rican culture.
Rep. Nydia Velazquez shared,
“It’s just an incredible experience. It’s a sense of pride, unity, a sense of cultural contributions, it is amazing, It’s an incredible message for the younger generation that is watching this, that is participating.”
Expected artists to perform during the celebration are Daddy Yankee, Hector El Bambino and Marc Anthony.
