The Katyn Massacre is one thing that is very popular in the Russian soil and people have been talking about the disaster if not the curse it brings they say.But with the death of the Polish President due to a plane crash, this Katyn Massacre is being linked to such a sad tragedy that happened in Russia.
President Lech Kaczynski and more than 90 top officials of Poland after their Presidential jet crashed.
What is Katyn Massacre?
During the World War II, Russia and Poland are at odds with each other and such a strained if not aggressive relationship and distrust with each other culminated with the Katyn Massacre in 1939 wherein then Russian leader Joseph Stalin ordered the killing of more than 20,000 Polish POVs.
And today, 70 years later as the Polish delegation is trying to observed and commemorate the massacre, they ended up on a plane crash.
