Boxer Edwin Valero Committed Suicide by Hanging Himself in Jail

Undefeated knockout artist Edwin Valero of Venezuela reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself inside his cell hours after getting jailed for murdering his wife.

Police authorities say that Edwin Valero used his own clothes to hang himself early Monday. The explosive fighter was found by his jailmates and authorities tried to revive him but could do nothing minutes after

Valero has been jailed for admitting to the brutal murder of his wife Jennifer Flores, stabbing her to death.

Edwin Valero is known as a very explosive fighter but has been deeply into drug and alcohol problems lately.

He has a record of 27-0 with most wins by KOs on the first round. He was even eyed to fight against Manny Pacquiao.
