Toyoto Motors Company President Akio Toyoda is going to face the US house investigation for the massive recall of Toyota cars that due to flawed accelerators that is being blamed for some accidents and fatalities.But days before Toyoda is going to face the investigating panel, secret memos from the company was submitted showing that the Japanese car-maker has downplayed the safety issue that it is being confronted with. The memo indicates that they have even saved up to $100 million on the floor mat recall by lobbying for the delay of the recall.
Toyoda’s testimony is going to be televised and broadcasted live and maybe even on live streaming online.
