Cochin Haneefa is Dead. The multi-awarded Malaysian actor died at the age of 58 after suffering from a long battle against illness at a hospital in Chennia late this afternoon.
Chochin Haneefa is not only a film actor but also a director, screen writer with his life known to be a staunch advocate of the arts and film industry in Malaysia. His passion for film has led him to be on almost 300 films since he begun his career in 1970’s as popular comedian
His demise left his wife and twin daughters.
