Former Fil-am boxing champion Brian Viloria is now on a stable condition after his knockout loss against challenger Carlos Tamara of Colombia on their the International Boxing Federation (IBF) world light-flyweight title bout.
Viloria was knocked out on the last round of the 12-round fight though he has been seen trailing on points on the first 8 rounds of the fight.
After the fight, Brian reported chest pains and headache and collapsed. He was rushed to the San Juan de Dios Hospital and later was transferred to the Makati Medical Center.
His manager reported that the former champ is not in a stable condition and doctors had just asked them to let Viloria stay for one more day to have a rest.
