UFC 120 is set to cross the Atlantic as it will be held at the O2 Arena in London, England. The two fighters who will battle it out inside the world famous octagon for the main event of the evening is hometown boy Michael Bisping vs Akiyama.

The supporting bout will be between Dan Hardy and Carlos Condit.

UFC 120 is on October 16, 2010.

Fight fans are already expecting a great battle between middleweights Bisping who is a winner of the Ultimate Fighter and Yoshihiro Akiyama a famous Japanese mixed martial artist.

Bisping holds a 19-3 record.

Facebook, the social networking giant is rumored to be making its own version and brand of a mobile phone. But the rumor is not yet confirmed or denied by the company. But those who are into this tech gossip says that most probably, Facebook is making a software for the phone rather than making the whole of the gadget on their backyard. Speculator further said that maybe, the company would just hire a third party company to work on the hardware.

The plan of a FB phone came about they said as the company is becoming more conscious of the growing power of Iphone and Android platforms that has seen a surge in demand from consumer nationwide especially for Apple.

Two people are pointed out to be working on this project secretly: Matthew Papakipos and Joe Hewitt; who are both experienced on the said kinds of programming and platform.

So for now, speculations and excitement to all who are awaiting of the FB mobile phone. But then, FB has to come out real big and great on this project, as Apple is surely a formidable enemy.

Microsoft has announced and made public its latest version of its web browser IE or Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer 9 Beta is labeled to be the "most ambitious browser release Microsoft has ever undertaken" by online tech sites.

After some updates it made, Internet Explorer 9 is ready for download to all those who are IE fans and users. It added some new features and of course, just like what all internet browser users look for, a faster browsing experience.

So when will the polished version be released to the public? IE 9 is expected to be in full swing by first quarter of 2011.

Sweden has started its election Sunday with the results of the polls still unpredictable as different party’s are still hyped to take over government.

PM Reifeldt’s coalition party has been seen to be winning the election as polls show that that a victory is up for them to grab. The confidence on his party is partly due to tax cuts and the good numbers that reflected on the finances of the government compared to other countries in the European continent that saw their public coffers suffering from debt.

But the Islam far-right party is also fighting for the elections and they might just get what they want as they are also seen to make a good fight.

349 seats are to be fought over in the parliament after the election result is released.

Reinfeldt urged the people of Sweden to vote for the majority in order for the continuation of what they had started.

"We have appealed to the Swedish people to be farsighted and responsible and vote clearly for the possibility to continue with a majority government.”

Randy Quaid and wife Evi were both arrested by authorities on Saturday as the two face felony burglary charges from owner for their former home.

The Quaid couple has to face a good number of charges after the owner of the property where they are said to have illegally occupied called on the Santa Barbara County police office. As the officers tried to arrest the couple, Evi Quaid resisted arrest and so had incurred another case of resisting arrest from police officers.

The charges they are to face are felony residual burglary, entering a property without consent and misdemeanor. The owner of the property also told police that the couple damaged the property amounting to $5,000.

Action star Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez most recently had been reported to have married on an Ifugao wedding ceremony in Baguio. The purported wedding happened on September 13, 2010, 3 PM on a private ceremony officiated by mambunong or Ibaloi priest named Jimmy Ong.

Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez wore Ifugao dress and the former was joined by his son.

Padilla’s mother is an Igorot.

During the ceremony, the two drank rice wine, had their faces painted with pig’s blood and danced an Ifugao wedding dance that indicated that the two had married.

The wedding video was first aired on E-Live and actually was given by Robin and Mariel’s camp.

A television reporter purportedly coming from that of TV Azteca of Mexico has been harassed during the practice of New York Jets last Saturday. The TV Azteca reported is Ines Sainz who was said to be making a report and story on Jets quarterback March Sanchez.

But the journalism chore for Sainz went bad as she is said to be thrown footballs by the coach of the Jets and later on was called by players to join them on their locker room.

With the Ines Sainz harassment, the NFL said that it is already looking into the incident and will conduct its own thorough investigation after they were notified.

On the said issue, Jets has issued a statement and added that its team owner has already spoken to Ines Sainz.

"He stressed to Ines that he expects all members of the Jets organization to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.”

The Food and Drug Administration has released a statement Thursday giving warning to doctors and patients of the side effects of the injectable drugs used for the MRI medical imaging scans procedure. The side effects of MRI drugs is said to be deadly to patients who are with kidney problems and diseases.

Side effect is said to lead to a rare syndrome which in turn makes the hardening of the skin and tissue growths along the joint area and internal organs that is called as nephrogenic fibrosing dermopathy. If not treated and taken care of, can lead to death.

The drug identified by FDA used for MRI is the one that uses gadolinium. It is issuing its strongest warning on drug labels that will soon be seen by medical practitioners as the one on a bolded box on the top section of the name of the drugs.
"These label changes are intended to help ensure these drugs are used appropriately.”
Some of the drugs identified by FDA to have greater risks on the said side effect are the following: General Electric Healthcare's Omniscan, Bayer Healthcare's Magnevist and Covidien's Optimark.

The Supreme Court of the Philippines has released an official statement that the 2010 Bar Exam Result will be published and announced on Thursday, March 17, 2011.

The Dove World Outreach Center in Florida through its pastor Terry Jones has already expressed that his congregation is going to do a burning of the Islamic holy book Koran during the commemoration of the 9/11 bombing by terrorist of the World Trade Center that killed thousands of people.

Jones has been very active and vocal against his campaign on extremist and radical Islam and Muslims.

This plan has been slammed by a good number of people in the US military saying that this move of Dove World Outreach Center will just put many more American soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, Iraq and other parts of the world in grave danger and may cause higher deaths from attacks.

Jones said during an interview on CNN,

"We have firmly made up our mind, but at the same time, we are definitely praying about it…Once in awhile, you see that in the Bible, there are instances where enough is enough and you stand up.”

I must say that I am always amazed with how and what Jehz is posting on his blog; full of wit, humor and fun. But I am also amazed to see that they are also SEO articles that rises up on the top pages of search engines though not too many people know, or is it only I who is thinking of that, LOL!

Kenneth Cobonpue is indubitably one of the most innovative and creative Filipino craftsman today raking local and international praises and recognitions for all his outstanding furniture designs.

Who is Kenneth Cobonpue?

Kenneth Cobonpue hails from Cebu who first studied in 1987 at Pratt Institute in New for a degree in Industrial Design. Afterwich he went to Italy and worked as an apprentice for a leather and wood workshop. His stint in Italy led him to go to Germany to study studied Furniture Marketing and Production.

In 1996, the young designer went back to his hometown and managed the company of his mother Interior Craft of The Islands Inc. It is then where he worked on fuse modern design concepts with indigenous fibers and materials. His designs were praised and given awards abroad. Some of the awards here received:

Robert Schimmel is dead at the age of 60. The comedian died due to injuries he suffered during a car accident last August 26, 2010 where his 19-year old daughter was the one on the steering wheel together with another child of 11. During that time, Schimmel’s daughter tried to avoid a collision with an approaching vehicle but in effect led them to roll over the freeway of Arizona.

Robert Schimmel has been very controversial known for a very materialistic life.

He was frequently seen guesting on popular shows like The Daily Show and Late Night with Conan O’Brien but was also a writer for In Living Color. But his mark was foremost respected by the entertainment industry for being a good writer and comedian.

Manny Pacquiao is to face Mexican Antonio Margarito on November 13, 2010 for his unprecedented 8th championship on his eight weight division that will be held in Cowboys Stadium in Texas.




Pacquiao vs Margarito fight is set to wrestle for the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) junior middleweight championship. If Manny Pacquiao wins over Antonio Margarito, he is set to make boxing history as the only boxer who has win 8 world championship belts on 8 different weight divisions.

Margarito on the other hand is former world welterweight champ but got suspended due to a hard substance on his handwrap during his fight against Mosley of which he lost. But I think the catch weight of 151 will take a role in the outcome of the fight as I can see Margarito losing steam in the late rounds.

A morbid sight and situation for the 33 Chilean miners that were trapped for more than a week already under 2,300 feet below the ground in San Jose gold and copper mine as one of the passage ways collapsed due to the heavy rains.

The Chilean miners are working under the San Sebastian Mining Company in Chile. Fortunately, all miners are all alive and have found refuge on a shelter just below the part of the mining area where the rock collapsed and passageway.

Chilean authorities are now working hard to provide the miners with all the necessary things they need like food, glucose tablets and medicines that are coursed through a small hole that could reach the miners of up to one hour from the surface down. One of the biggest challenges that authorities are facing is to keep the mental state of the miners well as the rescue operation is projected to last up to two months with the boring of a new hole that will fit the miners has just started. Rescuers have already sent out filler to know the physical state of the 33 trapped miners and are planning to send a microphone in order for them to talk to their families.

With the incident, the Chilean government is being castigated by many groups for its poor administrative efforts on improving the safety standards of mining in a country which is known to be one of the biggest sources of gold and copper.

The escape tunnel is projected to cost around more than 1 million pounds. Video of the trapped Chilean miners circulated the web and so far, they are in good condition with one of the plumber taking the role of being the leader of the group.
